Bill Bache and his law partner, Frances Lynch, work as team to obtain justice for victims of serious personal injury and wrongful death. In recent years they have recovered substantial compensation for the families of people killed in motor vehicle accidents caused by: negligent road design and maintenance, drunk driving, and the over-serving of alcoholic beverages by a bar. They have helped numerous people regain their lives after suffering devastating injuries, including injuries to the brain, the spine, and amputation. They have recovered millions of dollars for their clients. To achieve this record of success, they combine hard work with over 40 years of personal injury experience.  They thoroughly investigate each case and employ expert witnesses as necessary to get the proof they need. They have a passion for their clients and they work tirelessly for them, leaving no stone unturned in seeking full compensation for their losses.

Bill began his legal career working for one of the best law firms in Indiana after graduating near the top of his law school class at Indiana University. That law firm defended insurance companies and corporations in personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits. There, Bill learned about the insurance industry, and the tactics used by insurance companies and their lawyers to defeat claims for compensation by injury victims. Thereafter, Bill left to start his own firm, which would represent people, not insurance companies. He wanted to use what he had learned about the insurance industry and its tactics, to help injury victims and their families obtain justice. He has now been on the side of injury victims for over 30 years. He has lived and practiced law in Tucson since 1991.

Having grown up on farms in Pennsylvania and Indiana, I developed a strong work ethic early on.  I also learned and believe in the principles of responsibility and accountability, and the Golden Rule - treat others how you wish to be treated.  These principles govern my practice of law.  Put simply, I care about our clients and do everything I can to help them through the process and to recover physically, emotionally, and financially.

When a person or company causes an injury to an innocent victim, the person or company must be held accountable, not only so that the injured person can be compensated for the total damages sustained, but also so that the person or company causing the injury will learn and take precautions to prevent future accidents or injury.  Such prevention is paramount to keeping all of us safe.

Insurance companies, however, typically take any and all actions possible to avoid paying compensation to the injured.  Often, they refuse to accept responsibility, and in many cases blame the injured for the cause of an accident.

I know how insurance companies use these tactics--I used to represent them.

As a former attorney for insurance companies, I also know what it takes to get cases settled.  Because it is in their financial best interest to avoid paying out damages, reasonable settlements are almost never offered until a case is proven.  The standard for proof usually goes beyond what is required at trial; in order to make a reasonable settlement offer, it usually must be clear to the insurance company that they will lose at least the amount of the settlement offer, and possibly much more, at trial.

Getting insurance companies to accept this realization requires hard work and dedication.  We often need to interview witnesses, examine accident scenes, take depositions of experts, meet with doctors and other care providers so that we can prove the insurance company is liable for the damages sustained.  While this work is tedious and time-consuming, it's the only way that fair compensation can be gained, either through a settlement or at trial.
